Busy, overwhelmed, and need a way to
slow down for a bit?

To press pause?

Ready to invest four hours in YOURSELF, amidst the busyness of life and work, and meeting the needs of everyone else?
We don't want it to just feel "good for now", but "good for life" - if you implement what you learn, you'll be setting up new healthy habits to help you thrive, not just survive.
You're invited....

To a long lunch full of permission, pause, and playful delights

We would love to invite you, impactful female leader or ambitious business owner, to a nourishing private dining event with two experts in self-care and self-compassion - Michaela Thomas and Samantha Dhu.

Only eight women can fit around the table, and several spaces have already been booked.

Calming your nervous system with a muted colour palette in this space, and with sustainability at the forefront as they serve up nutritious and delicious dishes... of course we chose Yeotown Queens Gardens for our beautiful event "Nourishing You".

Yeotown will be serving up colourful food platters for us to mindfully enjoy (see the pics!), inviting in pleasure and connection and a little bit of space for YOU. To nourish yourself - because you matter too!

Simple, evidence-based practices of rest and recovery
Facilitating your own permission slips
Be more playful in work and life
You'll leave feeling lit up, inspired and more relaxed, so that you can continue to create impact in the world - with less impact on yourself.

A bit of ease and peace, a bit of fun and joy, with pause, purpose, play and permission pieces to help you burn bright without burning out.

Why? Because you deserve it, and you'll make more money, create more freedom, have more meaningful relationships when you look after yourself TOO.

A reminder of what you'll unlock by joining us:

space at the table with two experts in self-care, self-worth and self-compassion

Your Hosts
Sam Dhu

Sam Dhu is a Psychotherapist & Facilitator of Permission. Mum to seven-year-old, Amelie and baby Frankie, and passionate advocate for being radically kind and compassionate to yourself. As a highly sensitive person, Sam believes it is possible to be deeply ambitious AND soft and sensitive at the same time. Terms like ‘self-compassion’, ‘self-worth’, and ‘self-acceptance’ get used a lot these days. But to Sam, these aren’t just ‘nice sounding words’. Her degree in social work, post-graduate qualifications, training in cognitive behavioural therapy, family therapy, gestalt therapy, and decades as a practising therapist and coach have shown her these inner resources are the difference between being stuck in survival mode and confidently thriving.

Michaela Thomas

Michaela Thomas is a Clinical Psychologist and expert in perfectionism, compassion, and couples. She is also a mum of two young children and runs her own psychology business serving clients with therapy, coaching, retreats, and corporate talks. Michaela’s superpower of empathetic and compassionate connection with others is also what made her vulnerable to burnout when working in the NHS, before becoming an entrepreneur. Through the use of compassion practices, Michaela has now built a life which has space for her too, not just for those she serves, with a sustainable pace in her business. Embracing imperfection and finding progress over perfection has landed Michaela a bestselling book, a successful podcast, and a sought-after private practice - establishing that it is possible to follow your passion and ambition, without drowning in it.
